Great location, lovely and quiet. Lots of walks to do in the surrounding area. The owners were friendly and welcoming, even bringing us cake. The cottage was well-equipped and had a powerful shower. It was great to wake up and see ducks and sheep in the garden. The cottage was also close to attractions like Bala and zip world.
The entrance to the property was messy and there were no signs to guide guests. This made it difficult to find the cottage.

We had a lovely stay at this cozy cottage. Yan and Bernie were incredibly helpful hosts, always making sure we were comfortable. the entire property was spotlessly clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable, with thick duvets that kept us warm on chilly nights. the peacefulness of the countryside was exactly what we were looking for, and we enjoyed taking long walks in the area. It was a pleasure to wake up to the sight of ducks and sheep in the garden. We also appreciated the convenient location, with attractions like Bala and zip world nearby. a great experience at Bryn Cottage. Cons: For us, the stay was ideal. 😊.

My recent stay at a charming cottage in a rural location was exactly what I needed. The peaceful environment with ducks and sheep roaming freely made it truly idyllic. The cottage itself was attached to the main farm house but still provided plenty of privacy. The host, Bernie, was a delightful character who would pass by in the evenings to put the ducks to bed and share interesting stories. The nearby Bryntirion Inn served delicious food, especially their rib eye steak. While the cottage had a rustic feel, it had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a break from city life. I must mention that the front door wasn't completely airtight, allowing some little flies to enter. Additionally, the WiFi connection was difficult to establish and didn't work during our last night. However, the owner was apologetic and assured us that it would be resolved. Despite these minor drawbacks, I would still recommend this cottage for a peaceful retreat.

We loved the rustic and basic rural setting of the cottage with fantastic farm and wildlife views. The owner was friendly, and the presence of ducks and a cat added to the charm. The nearby pub within walking distance was a bonus.
Felt very well, no complaints whatsoever.

We arrived during a heatwave and the cottage was pleasantly cool inside. The shaded seating area outside was perfect for relaxing. The views from the property were stunning, and we even had the chance to swim in the nearby river. The hosts were lovely and we felt well taken care of. a great stay and we would definitely book again in the future - Highly recommend.
One minor flaw was the lack of a broom or vacuum to clean up after our small children. However, the host assured us that it wasn't an issue.

Greeted on arrival and Yan brought cakes later in the day. Good local pubs with lovely food.
The messy drive into the property was off-putting. Lacked signage.

I recently stayed at a charming 17th-century cottage in Wales for a few days and had a wonderful experience. The cottage had stunning views of the surrounding farmland, with sheep as my friendly companions. The owners were exceptional, always going above and beyond to assist me. The cottage itself was immaculate and had everything I needed, including a fully equipped kitchen. There was also a cozy shaded seating area outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. I couldn't have asked for a better stay and I will definitely be returning in the future.
100% Recommend this hotel.

We spent three nights at this lovely rural cottage as a getaway for our family of 4. It had everything we needed - a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedding, and even a TV with Netflix for cozy evenings in. The highlight for our sons was the pond with three adorable ducks that they named. My husband enjoyed fishing for carps, and we all loved the friendly owners who were always helpful. The location was perfect, with the beautiful Bala lake just a short drive away and the stunning Snowdonia National Park nearby. We fell in love with Wales and highly recommend Bryn Cottage for a wonderful stay in the countryside.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.
